When you start the bike, the app notices the panel's Bluetooth connection in the background and begins the trip without you touching the phone. This requires allowing location "all the time" and having the bike already paired with your phone.
Search for your destination in the app, check the route preview on the phone and follow it on the panel: next-turn arrow, distance and street name.
As you approach a speed camera, the panel shows the distance and the limit and flashes to catch your eye. If you're over the camera's limit, a speeding alert appears. Speed bumps are flagged too.
With TRPH Bridge, a free companion app for Android 12 or later, speed cameras, speed bumps and police reported by the Waze community reach the panel as alerts. Routes always come from TRPH Moto itself. Not affiliated with Waze or Google.

It has no affiliation, authorization, sponsorship, or official link with the motorcycle manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here solely to demonstrate compatibility.
The bike's original TFT panels have hardware and firmware limits that prevent them from showing a full map. So TRPH Moto shows the essentials of the app's own navigation on the panel — next-turn arrow, distance and street name — and adds speed camera alerts and phone notifications that the factory app lacks.
The app uses Android's Notification Listener Service. When a WhatsApp message arrives, the TRPH Moto securely reads the sender's name and message preview text, transmitting them via Bluetooth to be displayed directly on your Triumph's TFT screen. This keeps you informed of urgent messages without taking your hands off the handlebars.
