Frequently Asked Questions

Clarify your doubts regarding technical operations, connectivity, and safety.

No. The TRPH App is an independent connectivity utility developed entirely by software engineers and riders who love the brand. It has no affiliation, authorization, sponsorship, or official link to the motorcycle manufacturer. All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here exclusively to demonstrate compatibility.

The original TFT instrument clusters of the motorcycle have a physical hardware and firmware limitation that makes it impossible to render a video stream of complex maps (unlike car screens via Android Auto). The TRPH App respects this physical limitation of turn-by-turn arrows, but updates route information with Waze's dynamic intelligence and adds safety alerts missing in the native app.

When configuring the app for the first time, you grant permission for the background service to run persistently. When you turn on your motorcycle's ignition, the Bluetooth SPP signal from the dashboard is detected by your phone, and the app connects transparently in under 2 seconds, without requiring you to open the app or take the phone out of your pocket.

You start a standard route directly in Waze on your Android phone. The TRPH App accessibility/notification service reads the navigation instructions from the notification bar in real time and translates them into the turn commands accepted by the motorcycle's TFT screen, broadcasting them over Bluetooth instantly.

No. You can download a speed camera database file (such as a TomTom OV2 or CSV format) and import it directly into the app. The TRPH App processes your distance to speed cameras locally using an spatial indexing tree (R-Tree) on the SQLite database, running 100% offline.
